STEM in English – Juniors Robotics

Engineering

The important thing is to never stop questioning.

Albert Einstein

The educational program “STEM in English (Advanced)”, designed for children aged 9-11 years, offers students the chance to get inspired and build original robotic models, to experiment, to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities but above all to have fun!
Using the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 training package, children work on the construction of a robotic model that interacts with the real world in real time! Each construction follows a “code” that is the product of the students’ computational thinking and is realized in the digital environments of LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 and MIT Scratch.
Working collaboratively, students are involved in exploratory and experimental projects that help them conquer learning, scientific knowledge as well as language skills through questioning, searching for patterns, selecting strategies and drawing conclusions.

Finally, the educational background provided by the “STEM in English (Advanced)” program is particularly useful for all children who want to participate in the annual Pan-Hellenic Educational Robotics Competition
for Primary School students, which is the forerunner of the World Olympiad of the WRO.

Purpose of the program

The purpose of the Introduction to Automation is the fascinating learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics(S.T.E.M.), practically without theories and unnecessary terminology, and methods of problem analysis and solving. At the same time, it is possible to develop skills of ingenuity, algorithmic & programming models and team spirit demonstration.

    Good morning,
It is for a 10 year old attending English school – I would like to ask if it is possible to join certain chapters of the program only. Also pls if you can clarify which dates and times the program will run.

    Thank you in advance.
