In the mind of the computer

Have you ever thought about how a computer works? What are its primary components, and how does it think?
In this field trip, we deal with the basic components of a computer, study how it works, and construct a robot that collects data from the environment using a sensor and converts it into the computer’s language: the binary system.

  • Physics: measuring instrument, treatment of experimental values
  • Mathematics: ratio, division, addition. size comparison.
  • Technology: robotics, electronic sensors, the concept of automation, barcode, QRcode.
  • Informatics: binary system, bits, programming commands in a WeDo 2.0 environment, computer language
