Advanced Training Robotics (Mindstorms EV3)

Engineering

This program provides students with advanced knowledge, introducing them to the logic of solving a problem and the methodology to be followed to complete a demanding project. It promotes teamwork and puts children in the process of self-assessment and continuous improvement.

Students will learn to work in groups to meet the construction challenges, thus unleashing their creative forces in building robust, intelligent and autonomous robotic models that will solve real problems. At the same time, they will delve into programming both in the handling of appropriate automation and in the creation of advanced algorithms.

Students will be taught by experienced and multi-faceted teachers in educational robotics competitions. Thus, they are preparing to participate, if they wish, in the annual Panhellenic Competition of Educational Robotics especially for High School students, one step before the world Olympiad of the international organization WRO. The students who will stand out there, are automatically admitted to the schools they want!

Program goal

The educational process introduces students to the algorithmic way of thinking and teaches how we go from conceiving an idea to creating the appropriate algorithm and planning the construction. During the courses, methodologies of “decoding a challenge”, mapping a track, advanced construction techniques, as well as algorithmic techniques will always be developed, always guided by the solution of a specific problem.
