Dive into the World of Engineering and Energy: Power-it!

Power-it! is an immersive, action-packed program that takes children on an exciting journey where engineering meets energy. Through construction and exploration, kids will encounter fundamental concepts, develop valuable skills, and cultivate a love for science and technology.

Imagine a program that transforms children into little engineers and scientists!

The primary goal of the TechCard Power-it! program is to familiarize children with more complex mechanisms, such as the formation of gear and pulley systems, the activation of motors, and pneumatic-hydraulic systems. By building a wide range of models and incorporating these essential mechanisms, children gain immediate understanding of their use and application. Additionally, there is ample opportunity for modification and optimization, allowing them to use the models as a springboard for their own designs and projects.

Through the construction of 9 different models, children are introduced to key engineering and energy concepts. Each model represents a unique adventure, full of fun and learning.

Program Goals

Understanding Basic Principles:

Construction of Motorized Projects: Using various materials and tools, children create their own motorized projects. The design and modification of these models help them understand how mechanisms function and how they can be controlled.

Exploration of Force, Motion, and Energy: Children experiment with concepts such as force, motion, and energy, investigating how these elements interact with each other.

Gear, Pulley, Motor, and Pneumatic-Hydraulic Systems: Students learn about different motion transmission systems, including gears, pulleys, motors, and pneumatic-hydraulic systems. They also understand how these systems operate and how they can be used to facilitate movement.

Skill Development:

STEM Skills: Students enhance their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, which are essential skills for the 21st century.

Problem Solving: By facing challenges during construction, children learn to think critically and find creative solutions.

Teamwork: Collaborating with their peers, they build communication and cooperation skills.

Critical Thinking: They develop the ability to analyze, evaluate, and make informed decisions.

Curiosity: Children explore enthusiastically, asking questions and seeking answers.

Interest in Engineering and Science: The program aims to plant the seed for future studies and careers in these exciting fields.
