High School

The Panhellenic STEM Competition 2024 has one category for EPA.L. High School students:

Open category for EPA.L. “”
The purpose of the EPAL Open category is for students to combine pre-acquired knowledge and skills and apply them in the real world, designing an integrated robotic solution that responds to real social or environmental problems and is accompanied by a complete business plan.

The EPAL class is designed to prepare students for their participation in the WRO™ Educational Robotics Olympiad. It is noted that according to an amendment by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, students who won first, second or third place in a Balkan or international Robotics Olympiad and graduated after 2015 from a Vocational High School, as well as those who reached the same level in the European competition for new scientists are now enrolling in excess of the number admitted to the University.

Open category for High School”Mediterranean, source of life and culture”

This year’s goal is for each team to build a robot/project that helps people in their daily lives in the middle of this massive “invasion” of machines in our lives.

A substantial category is also dedicated for the old, which includes everything from taking care of the hygiene of bedridden persons to caring for the elderly and keeping them in touch with their families.

The competition’s major goal is to put EPAL students into contact with the labor market in the industrial region so that they can discover their skills and choose the right areas that interest them in the technological production process. However, it is also important to establish interaction between the country’s industries and farmers and students and teachers of technical education in order to explore opportunities for collaboration.
