Inspired by the real scientific and technological challenges that accompany the colonization of another planet, students are called upon to think about how smart and reliable systems can be designed for life and research in extreme environments.<\/p>\n

Through experiential activities and experimentation, students learn the fundamental principles of the Internet of Things (IoT) and programming, using the Adafruit CLUE development board. They discover how devices collect and process environmental data and how this data is transformed into functional, interactive applications that connect the digital world with the physical one.<\/p>\n
