Turing Machine

Μηχανές Turing

In the educational program Turing Machines, students are educated to solve logical problems by creating mechanical computers. Through play, students learn the fundamental structures of computer science and improve programming skills. This program also helps students to understand the functionality of electronic computers at their lowest level: how simple mechanical switches are connected in the processor and how they could simulate that algorithms’ logic when combined in a smart way.

Educational benefits:

Being part of a STEM program, the mathematical dimension of the activities helps students to enhance 3 different forms of reasoning skills: spatial, geometrical and visualized. Finally, the program, directs students methodically to detect and correct logic error that occur during riddle solving.
