Scratch & Micro:bit

scratch-and-micro:bit

In the Scratch & Micro:bit program, children will create their first virtual automations!

In each lesson, they solve a real-world challenge using the capabilities of Micro:bit. They gradually become familiar with physical computing. Human senses are replaced by electronic sensors. Children gather information from the environment by programming the processor.

During the project, children collaborate, develop their creations and learn how to present them!

Upon completion of the program, students will have:

  1. familiarized themselves with physical computing,
  2. solved real-world challenges using sensors and actuators,
  3. deepened their understanding of programming principles and algorithmic thinking,
  4. developed communication, innovative thinking, collaboration, and presentation skills.
