On this field trip, kids discover the fun and creative side of programming through Python using the Micro:bit. Here, apart from acquiring technical skills, they also learn the basic concepts of programming. They then create a programme that allows them to investigate human reaction time and the factors that influence it. Through practical exercises, they discover how their attention is interrupted and how this affects their reaction, especially when they are in motion.
In this voyage of programming knowledge and perception, youngsters learn not just how to write code but also how many elements can influence human reactions. This experience provides them with a better understanding of programming and behaviour as well as the ability to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios.
