The challenge of “Race of Robots” is a line follow. The drivers run one against the other doing both laps to complete their effort, if they finish on the route they started.
In our version the lines can be straight, curves with a fixed radius, continuous or not, dashed or of a different color, there may be oblique lines in the central course of the line follow. The bridge adds an extra bit of difficulty to the robot’s construction because the inclination and friction of the material must be calculated so that it can continue its course smoothly by climbing it. Also using a suitable sensor the robots should avoid the collision with each other if they are close to the same path eg a slow one with a fast one.
