Power Engineers

Engineering

In the Power Engineers educational program, children unleash their imagination and ingenuity! They incorporate electrical elements into their designs, experimenting with the fundamental physical concepts of energy, mass, force, and time! The movement of the constructions is carried out with different forms of energy (electric, dynamic, wind, etc.). The involvement of the human factor in the movement of the structure is limited to its initiation or cessation. At the same time, children deepen their programming knowledge by following teaching scenarios based on the story-based learning method. Furthermore, they pave the way for the first automation to be created by combining Engineering and Programming.

Objectives of the program:

By the end of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Recognize simple machines in more complex constructions,
  2. Describe how the electrical energy is used, setting a motor into motion,
  3. Create automations and describe science concepts qualitatively,
  4. Use mathematics to calculate the engineering advantage in their constructions, and create patterns,
  5. Work in groups and cultivate creativity, collaboration, communication and creative thinking skills.
