Preview
This program is aimed at pre-school teachers who want to integrate Science in the classroom.
With a particular focus on the field of engineering, the activities gradually introduce children to STEM methodology, as:
- They build simple mechanisms and get hands-on exposure to concepts such as force or motion transmission.
- They investigate everyday phenomena and become familiar with the relevant scientific vocabulary.
- They enhance their creativity with appropriate educational material.
Lilliputian Engineers is the right program for you who want to put your students in the role of little scientists!
Objectives
Upon completion of the program the trainees will have:
- become familiar with the building materials proposed by the program,
- learned the categories of Simple Machines,
- constructed simple mechanisms and models,
- got inspired with teaching ideas and ready-to-use activities for implementation in their classroom.
