Lilliputian Engineers

Engineering

The program Lilliputian Engineers is designed for Kindergarten students (4 and 5 years old). Children make their first steps in the world of science, technology and engineering. Through game-play activities, they explore concepts, phenomena, create one or more structures at a time, make observations and draw conclusions about the world around them. Each activity is “disguised” with a special story that magnetizes the interest of our tiny scientists and invites them to seek solutions to specific problems.

The constructions are made with educational material from the LEGO DUPLO Education series. Activities are accompanied by relevant audiovisual material and specially designed worksheets that allow the children to verify what they have learned by observing.

Children through experiential activities with materials familiar to them acquire knowledge in a fun way, adapted to their age, and come to love science and gain a positive attitude towards them in their later school life.

Objective of the program

The aim of the program is for children to get acquainted with simple concepts of physics, mathematics, engineering and technology in a very young age. We also seek to cultivate skills such as observability, imagination and ingenuity.
