Young Engineers

Engineering

Young Engineers is designed for early primary school pupils and enables them to be transformed into small scientists. By watching the world around them, children learn to wonder what’s going on in nature, how something works or what a device does. Through the collaboration, small engineers make use of their skills by building simple models and experimentally learning the usefulness of the mechanisms they encounter in their environment.

With original constructions, we find applications of simple machines (gears, pulleys, levers) in our everyday life and we look for solutions to specific problems, thinking as true engineers.

Experiential learning offers, in an entertaining and playful way, knowledge easily perceived and encourages children to comprehend and love science and explore their inclinations to them.

Purpose of the program

The purpose of the program is for children to get acquainted with basic building techniques, simple mechanisms and motion, which is not taught in public education. We also aim to develop skills in problem solving and team spirit.
