U-AR-On STEM!

ZοUmARO στο SΤΕΜ!

The educational program  U-AR-On STEM! is addressed to primary school pupils of 1st and 2nd class. Those are the ages where play and exploration are an integral part of everyday life, while the stimuli that children receive are the basis of their cognitive, social and emotional development.
UARO is an innovative product that combines research knowledge with programming and algorithmic process. Through this new training program, all the pillars of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) methodology, most widely used for its positive effects, are highlighted.

Children, starting from step-by-step construction of the model (through image support) and reaching to programming (using the plaque and special coding blocks that make programming look like a game) will develop modern skills. Some of those skills are creativity, critical thinking, solving original problems, perception-observation encountered in finding and managing error in assembly and programming steps, and co-operation.

Objective of the program

The purpose of U-AR-On STEM! is to achieve a primary contact of students with the design and building of mechanical constructions that promote their fine mobility while at the same time enhancing the coordination of their thinking process. Through interesting and enjoyable activities, the students come in contact with original problems, assume the central role of the learning process, discover concepts of natural sciences, and supply the necessary skills for the 21st century.
